Prepare to meet thy Elohim.
Its’ a festive season and people are busy preparing for the festive occasion, cleaning, decorating their homes, shopping, cooking special dishes, etc. All these preparations need time, planning and labour. After all these preparations, the D-Day is gone and everything is as usual.
The whole world believes it is the Advent Season, waiting for the birth of the Messiah. He was born 2000 years ago, lived on this earth as a human being, suffered and died for us on the cross, rose up from the dead to give us salvation. The Christian world forgets about the way of salvation, but they are still waiting for the Babe, a babe who sleeps in all innocence in a manger, one incapable of any anger or judgment! No! We have to wait for his second coming, when He comes as a refiner’s fire, purifying the sons of Levi as it is written in Malachi. 3: 3.

As years pass by and we near His second coming, what are we doing about it? Are we preparing for his second coming, are we ready to meet him in the clouds? (1 Thes.4: 17) If we are not ready, then we are left on this earth for tribulation. (Matt.24: 40-44) The signs of the end times are visible around us. (Matt.24:7)  Nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom, there shall be famines, pestilences, earthquakes in diverse places…these are only the beginning. There shall be no love, people betray one another, hate one another, false prophets shall arise and deceive, even false Messiahs showing great wonders.(Matt.24: 7)

But those believers who endure all these things shall be saved. (Matt.24:14), i.e., we should have faith in him, believe that he is our Saviour, who can save us from all sin and lead us to eternity. Apart from having strong faith, we should also preach this gospel…because the end will not come until the gospel is preached to the whole world. (Matt.24: 14) Apostle Peter says in II Pet.3: 9, ‘the Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness, but is long suffering to us ward, not willing that any should perish but come to repentance.’

Some people think that the world will continue the same way, day after day, but no, all these things are going slowly, for mankind to repent and all the people should understand the plan of salvation which is through the blood of Messiah. Messiah said, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life’. If we want eternal and truthful life, the way is only through Yahshua Messiah. The coming of Messiah is being delayed for this reason. Therefore it is the bounden duty of every believer to preach the way of salvation and bring people to repentance. II Pet. ch3 and Matt.ch24 describe the second coming.
When the whole world knows about the Saviour, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Yahshua Messiah is the Lord our Saviour. Phil.2: 10-11. Because His name is above every name. Phil.2: 19.Only then will the lord come.

The preparation of the heart of man is from the Lord. Prophet Isaiah prophecies about preparing the way of the Lord. i.e., to make the people know about God’s presence, his great mercies upon mankind, that He is the only way through which mankind can be saved.
Therefore we have to prepare spiritually to preach this gospel to all nations and make people aware of his second coming, that they may accept Him as their personal Saviour.
We have to prepare our own lives and be strong in faith to meet our Saviour. 1Tim.4: 15-16, St. Paul advices Timothy to meditate on these things, give yourself entirely to them, that your progress maybe evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine, continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

Phil.4: 8-9. Paul wrote to the church in Philippi to do things which are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtue and praiseworthy…then the peace of God (Yahweh) shall be with you. By doing such good things we will grow in our spiritual life and prepare our souls for the eternal kingdom. In 1Thes.5: 23, Paul encourages and prays to Yahweh that by living a good life, the whole sprit, soul and body is blameless unto the coming of our Lord.

We must prepare to meet the Lord, since we cannot escape from Him. He is our creator and the whole world is in his hands. He knows our thoughts and actions. Do we really love him, honour him and do what he wants us to do? Or are we doing things against him? If we do not listen to him and follow his instructions from his word we are the losers in life here and eternally. If we do not prepare, we may lose this opportunity to enter into his kingdom. The doors of New Jerusalem will be shut and we will be thrown into the lake of fire. But the Almighty will reign on this earth and the New Earth. He will remain in authority forever. Remember-to preach his gospel, read the word, pray without ceasing, do good works, to prepare your soul and also others, for that heavenly kingdom.
